Every October, we put our favorite aqua blue color on the back burner to support a pink initiative– Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Across the country us HPNOTIQ girls sport the famous pink ribbon, as well as rally in support of breast cancer awareness through relays, walks and various charitable donations to the cause.

The organization for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a year long non-profit that educates, hosts events, and raises funds for research and services. You can find a calendar of events on the NBCAM website, along with countless local organizations to join in the fight against a disease that has touched us all in some way.

Over 200,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. And this month, you can help increase awareness and raise money for those affected, education, prevention and cures by searching for supported events in your city. Many spas, shops, and restaurants will be running deals through the end of the month where part (or in some cases, all) profits are to be donated to the cause.
