Showing off her curves last night at Tao Nightclub inside the Venetian in Las Vegas, Carmen Electra hosted Tao’s fifth annual Tao-a-GoGo contest with HPNOTIQ last Thursday night as nearly 40 women competed for the $10,000 prize.
The field was narrowed down to four finalists and as the contestants practiced their moves, Electra took in the scene from an elevated sky box in the VIP moat overlooking the packed club.
And it seems fitting that the 38-year-old got involved with the sexy dance competition because the one time Pussycat Dolls burlesque dancer appears to still enjoy showing off her own moves…
Just last week the former Playboy model joined up with the provocative Dolls for a one-off performance in Park City, Utah during the Sundance Film Festival.
When the time came for the dance off to choose the winner, Electra made her way to the catwalk to help serve as emcee. After an impressive performance, Donyell Brown took home the $10,000 grand prize and sipped on our signature Bubbles ‘N Blue to celebrate.
Check out photos from inside the competition here!

If you haven’t heard of Jasmine Solano yet, not only will she make sure of it, but you should pay attention. The radio host come rapstress/DJ has been making big moves in the last few years — as the official DJ for Whiz Kalifa and Va$htie‘s right hand girl, to mention a few — and with a kick off career with a party called Electric Punnany, we’re not surprised.
Basically, if you’re looking for a Brooklyn girl that does it all, Solano is your best bet. With positivity and loyalty for days, Jasmine prides herself in rolling with a tight crew of people who are not only motivated, but ready to live and breathe creativity.
In addition to bringing it hard on the party scene, Jasmine embodies a natural born hustler. With her hands in radio, nightlife, fashion, production and tons more, we’re expecting even bigger things from her in the future! And if you’re looking for some of the sweatiest all out dance parties in NYC, I’d follow her closely on Twitter and bank on having one of the best nights of your life.
Check out her video for “That’s Not It” after the jump and be sure to celebrate the 3 year anniversary of Electric Punnany this Sunday, January 30th. And you better be ready to really get down when you get there!
Most of the time us ladies are stuck wearing stilettos to stay looking good, but leave it up to the spunky songstress Santigold to collaborate on sneakers so hot that they’re, dare we say, sexy!
Best known for her “Brooklyn we go hard” declaration, Santigold gets together with Vans to present these super chic high tops that will be available for the girl looking for comfort without losing an ounce of sex appeal come February 1st.
In addition to the gold chain accents and a perforated leather Tosha Hi silhouette, an SG gold pin created by jewelery designer Jules Kim of Bijules dons the front, capturing the truly eclectic and eye-catching style of Ms Santi. And as if a high profile sneaker wasn’t enough for the young dup-pop songstress, she’s currently working on a new album that we can look forward to later this year.

The good folks over at Gawker gave a us a big laugh with an imagined conversation that (probably really) took place between Snooki and Kim Kardashian at this past weekend’s Nets-Mavericks game.
The two reality divas enjoyed teasing the cameras, while the second row enjoyed their view.
The lesson learned here? There’s a price to pay for that infamous behind…
As for Snooki, she made big news today as well with MTV’s announcement of Jersey Shore’s fourth season set to film in Italy.
Last night, Kate Bosworth donned a Dolce & Gabbana sheer floral gown, crochet adorned and all to the Creative Coalition’s 2011 Spotlight Initiative hosted at Tao at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah– and we’re not saying that she doesn’t pull it off, but we prefer our florals a little less granny.
Large literal floral graphics will be huge for Spring, and Kristen Bell’s short and understated cocktail dress and Kristen Cavallari’s sexy strapless maxi gown pull off the trend without looking like your Aunt Millie’s curtains.
Will you be wearing florals this Spring? Which celebrity look is your favorite?
Royal tea towels and gold coins not quite your style? No room for that commemorative china set?
Well fear not, Will-and-Kate-watcher, because there’s a new royal wedding-themed item that might be right up your alley.
This March, Butter London will release a glittery new shade – with a nod toKate Middleton’s long-awaited nuptials – called, “No more Waity, Katie.”
The limited-edition nail laquer is grayish-blue and glitter-infused, according to Nonie Créme, Butter London’s creative director. And of course, it gives a cheeky nod to Kate’s pre-engagement nickname, “Waity Katie.”
The nail care company, a cult favorite that prides itself on selling chemical-free products, will ship the nail polish internationally. It will retail for around $22.
Pre-ordering on zuneta.com for “No More Waity, Katie” will begin in the first week of March, and the product will officially launch the second week of the month.
Wonder if “Katie” herself might use the shade on her wedding day nails…
