High Heels and Handshakes held its monthly networking event for business women last week at the Westin Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. Harmonie teamed up with Partida Tequila to create a special ‘Stiletto’ cocktail for over 400 guests to enjoy.
Ladies munched on the HPNOTIQ Harmonie candy bar while they made business contacts and exchanged business cards.
Attendees donated used business attire, handbags and jewelry to Dress For Success in Miami. The ladies also showed support to international causes with a portion of the night’s proceeds going to the non-profit organization Women for Women.
High Heels and Handshakes monthly happy hour, created by Bonnie Kilpatrick and Christina Ward, aims to bring create camaraderie among professional women while supporting local and international causes.
A packed crowd filled The Standard’s rooftop lounge Le Bain for Steve Madden Music’s summer concert series featuring the amazingly talented Melanie Fiona.
The crowd enjoyed a stunning view of Manhattan while they awaited — and sweated — for Melanie to arrive. Once the singer took stage, the audience was immediately captivated by her sultry powerhouse voice, performing breakout hits like “It Kills Me” and “Give it to Me Right.”
Melanie took time out of her set to sing a medley of Amy Winehouse songs in honor of the late singer. The crowd sang along to Winehouse hits “Rehab,” “Valerie” and “F Me Pumps.”
Melanie also gave the audience a taste of her upcoming album MF Life, which is expected to drop later this year.
Harmonie joined the ladies of PYNK magazine and designer Crystal Street, of LyraLoveStar, for a “Midsummer Night’s Dream” at Foley + Corinna boutique in Soho.
Street and Style Network’s Julissa Bermudez hosted the event, which featured close to 150 of New York City’s tastemakers and influencers and media from BET, Bleu magazine, Vibe magazine and Style Network.
Attendees sipped on Harmonie Purple Rain cocktails while getting complimentary Ginger + Liz manicures. LyraLoveStar’s upcoming line was also on display throughout the store for guests to preview. Check out photos from the event below!

The five-day event — which took place at The Raleigh Hotel — featured a range of vibrant hues, animal-inspired prints and color striped desings.
