We caught up with the adorable Christina Milian last night at Meatpacking’s Beaumarchais restaurant for the singer’s 30th birthday dinner celebration. Milian was joined by family and celebrity friends including BET’s 106 & Park co-host Rocsi Diaz and singer Maxwell.
Guests toasted to the birthday girl with signature Harmonie cocktails as she blew out the candles to her Harmonie-inspired birthday cake. We were lucky to steal a moment with the woman of the hour to discuss what she learned about love in her twenties, her upcoming album and her need for lashes. Check out the video below.
Our beautiful Harmonie made her official TV debut on Chicago’s WCIU’s You&Me morning show yesterday. The segment, which featured holiday dining options for the cooking-deficient, highlighted Kit Kat Lounge in Chicago. The local restaurant will be offering a Jingle Bell Brunch on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, for locals and visitors alike, that features a three-course meal, as well as a Harmonie martini! Shopping extraordinaires from all over New York City filled Highline Stages this weekend for Lucky magazine’s ultimate shopping extravaganza, Lucky Shops. Having a left a near circus behind on Rodeo, the tone on Melrose was slightly hipper and quite chic, in a very New York City-type way. Arriving at Arcade Boutique I was greeted by the tune of records being spun and the tempting scents from the city’s popular Grilled Cheese Truck –a welcome treat as I had worked up quite an appetite.
Right away, I spotted women’s shoe designer Jerome C. Rousseau with a glass of Bubbles N’ Berries, mingling with FNO’ers. I perused the fall collection — fun, feminine, eye-catching designs — and couldn’t help wanting to take them all home. What a talent! When I caught up with Jerome a little later I was pleased to find him so sweet and genuinely humble.
We chatted for a while and Jerome shared his thoughts on the importance of Fashion’s Night Out saying, “I’m excited to be here at Arcade tonight. We’re both independent businesses. I get lonely at work so it’s great to be here meeting customers and hearing their thoughts. Tonight is precious to me for that reason.” Continue reading →
