Hpnotiq caught up with Los Angles-based blogger Elizabeth Watson, creator of behindthecocktailring.blogspot.com, during the Be Your Best You styling suite to talk fashion inspiration, holiday fashion and Christian Loubitouns heels.

What’s your style inspiration?

I love classic pieces, but I feel like I also dress girlie and sometimes more edgy, so a cross between the two. I love statement pieces. I’m always looking for statement jewelry, statement shoes, statement lipstick. I love statements!

How do you choose to Live Louder?

I love statement pieces, I think you should always live it up and live your life to the fullest. I also love colors; bold colors.

What do you plan on wearing to the Snowball gala?

Tonight I’m wearing a dress I got off of NastyGal.com. It’s black sequined, long sleeves and has shoulder pads. It also features a high-low skirt; short in the front, low in the back.

What are your favorite/least fashion holiday trends?

I love sequins, I love glitter and I love dressing it up. I love being able to wear dressy pieces like during the day as well as at night.

What’s at the top of your holiday wish list?

I love fashion. There’s a dress I saw the other day at Macy’s. I forgot who it’s by, but it’s a black dress and it has sequined shoulder pads with the sequins in a design of a peacock feather. I also would like a pair of Christian Louboutins. Oh, and a purse — one or the other!
